We lose bone and muscle mass as we age, which can lead to a host of health problems. This class focuses on yoga postures that promote flexibility, coordination, strength and mobility while incorporating some vinyasa flows to increase the heart rate a little. Other movements that promote strength and coordination may be incorporated at times. Meditation and pranayama (breathwork) are practiced to connect the body and mind. Beginners are welcome and modifications and progressions are available to suit all individuals.
